Dairy Free Chocolate Avocado Mousse Recipe
Dairy free, soya free, egg free, wheat free, gluten free, nut free, paleo chocolate mousse recipe.
I’ve had a few mums recently ask me how I incorporate good fats into my sons diet, I think a lot of us allergy parents have been through or are going through a stage where our little one’s are refusing meals and just having their alternative milks and grazing throughout the day. My son is 19 months now so I gave him roasted cashew nuts for the first time last week and I am pleased to say he loves them.
Another good fat I use is avocado, I’ve tried giving my son avocado in a few variations and the one which works best is the chocolate avocado mousse maybe it’s because he can’t taste the avocado!
This chocolate avocado mousse is so quick and simple to make, I use an electric hand blender but if you have a blender it’s much quicker. It’s also dairy free, soya free, egg free, corn free, wheat free and gluten free!
2 tbsp honey
3 tbsp cacao powder
6 tbsp KoKo coconut milk
pinch of sea salt
Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl and blend with an electric hand blender then serve.
If you have an electric blender then add all the ingredients and blend until smooth then serve.
And that’s it! So simple yet a great way to get good fats into your little one’s diet, I hope they enjoy this recipe. Let me know by commenting below or posting to our Facebook page.
I use organic raw cacao powder in my kitchen but you can make this with any dairy free cocoa powder and it will still taste great.
