Chocolate Orange Crazy Cake Recipe (No Eggs, Milk, Butter or Bowls)
3 tablespoons raw cacao powder
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 dessert spoon orange flavouring (Concentrated Flavouring by Beau Products – Orange)
5 tablespoon vegetable oil
Chocolate Buttercream Icing Ingredients:
175g icing sugar (sifted)
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
4 tablespoons water
Preheat oven to gas mark 4. Mix first 5 dry ingredients in a greased 8″ cake tin. Make 3 depressions in dry ingredients – two small, one larger. Pour vinegar in one depression, orange in the other and the vegetable oil in third larger depression. Pour water over all. Mix well until smooth. Bake on middle rack of oven for 35 minutes. Check with toothpick to make sure it comes out clean. Cool. Place all of the chocolate buttercream icing ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix well. Top the cake with the buttercream icing and raspberries, Enjoy!
Notes: Oven baking times may vary, be sure to check your cake to make sure you do not over bake. You don’t have to use buttercream icing, if you need to avoid margarine then you can use any suitable icing recipe.
