Mrs Crimble’s Free From Cake Mix Review
Mrs Crimble’s Muffin & Sponge Mix Is Wheat free, Gluten free, Dairy free and Soya free.
I got this cake mix to try and it is so easy, quick to make and the muffins taste great. They came out perfectly! I don’t mind spending time baking and playing around with different recipes as I quite enjoy it but if you are doing a buffet for your child’s party and have lots to do in little time then I would highly recommend this cake mix. I can’t believe how simple and quick it was to make. I used pure sunflower spread instead of butter to make it dairy and soya free. I got this cake mix from Morrison’s but Mrs Crimbles brand can be found in most supermarkets, usually in the free from aisle. The instructions on how to make the muffins or even a cake are on the back of the box and very easy to follow.
I cut one muffin in half and put strawberry jam on it, my son loved it with just jam and so did I. You could try topping these muffins with this dairy and soya free cream cheese icing recipe.
These free from cakes/muffins would also be great with hot custard, Bird’s custard powder – the original one in the tin is dairy and soya free.
Check out this great chocolate cake recipe which is great for birthdays too!
